Our Story

Hollow Howl started with a simple observation: most clothing built for the outdoors looked like it belonged on a trail, and most clothing built for the street looked like it had never seen one. We wanted something that moved between both worlds without compromise — flannel you could wear to dinner, a shell jacket that held up on a ridge and looked right on a sidewalk, a graphic tee that told a story instead of just carrying a logo.

The name comes from the idea of a call that travels farther than you'd expect — through hollows, over ridgelines, into places you can't quite see from where you're standing. That's the feeling we chase in every piece we make: clothing that's built for distance, for weather, for the version of your week that doesn't stay indoors.

We started small, working directly with cut-and-sew partners who cared as much about seam strength and fabric weight as we did. Every collection is developed in small batches so we can test fit, wash performance, and durability before a design ever reaches the shop floor. It's slower than mass production, but it means fewer things end up in a landfill because they fell apart after two washes.

Along the way, we've stayed close to the details other brands skip — the weight of a fabric before and after washing, whether a hood actually stays up in wind, whether a chest pocket sits where your hand naturally goes. Our Mission
